I go up north with my family as well every summer! Where does your family go? Nice job on the haiku! ~Mrs. Hanlon

that was awesome!!!! - ben Thanks ben-Brianna

I'm thinking of something that is long and smooth and is very dark inside this thing can go on for miles. Hint it can be big enough for a 6ft human to walk though it.and they can be not even an inch inside.

Up North in Iron River
By: Brianna Luebke
When I’m going to Iron River I’m coming from Hayward, WI. I’m coming from Hayward because after we go to Hayward I go to my nana’s and papa’s house in Iron River. When we arrive at the house I have to put everything in my own room and get all situated. Then usually we go fishing on the pontoon boat and we go on to the secrete fishing spots and we usually catch a lot of blue gills. Then we’ll go back to dock and fish off that.
Then me and papa will go to the garage and gut the fish the fun part about it is that I take a stick and play with the fish’s eyes. Then we’ll all go paddle boating we’ll usually go and stop by my nana’s and papa’s friend Jim and see if he’s home. Then some times in the afternoon we’ll go and cut some wood and stock it up for a nice little campfire. Then we will usually go and rake the yard and when I mean the yard I mean the whole yard. Next I’ll go and spray the plants with special spray that will keep the deer from eating them you have to put it on after every time it rains the deer love the hosta’s flowers and leaves especially. The we’ll go and water the plants if there is no rain for a while and were not expecting it.
Then when we go and plant some flowers and while doing that I look for acorns and I put them in the grass for the deer to eat then every day I go and check on them. Then if Jim is home we’ll go over there and he teaches me guitar so up north I always learn something knew. Then if we have nothing to do I’ll go chipmunk, squirrel, and black bird hunting usually I’ll get 1-6 chipmunks through out the week 0-0 squirrels 0-0 black birds. Then on Mon. and Sun. I’ll go and clean the bar before it opens.
First I got to stack up about 50 chairs then I have to sweep the bar then I have to take out the garbage next I have to go and make the beds in the camper and make sure every thing is in place next I have to go and mop the bar then I have to go clean the dishes and make sure the dumpster isn’t to full then I have to make sure all the bathrooms are all clean and have toilet paper. Then some times I have to go and help pick up sticks and pick weeds. Then for fun some times I go and chase a really fat chipmunk that lives there. Then we take are time going home a the really curvy roads and sometimes we see a few deer or maybe some bear. Then when we get to the house we go and eat a fruit salad and a baloney sandwich or two then we’ll get out the chips and we’ll go on the deck. We feel a nice warm breeze and the air is thick with the smell of flowers and campfires with roasted smores mmmmm… I go because it smells so good. Then we eat are delicious sandwiches and then we usually go in the house and play Yatzee. We could play Yatzee as long as elephant eats well until night. After we play Yatzee we usually go and then I go and shoot some targets which is a box with a circle. Then some times I’ll go and get my swim suit on and go search clams or shells. Next we’ll get on the boat and go swimming one time I found a specula in the water from last years ice fishing. Then I usually go and get on the boat and dry of then we feel all of the sweet wind in my face. Then some times we’ll go on a train ride that goes to Minnesota. When we arrive at a town we go and eat lunch and go to the parade next we go and look around at all of the cool stands. We didn’t buy anything but lunch the best thing is that me, papa, and nana all had fun then the train ride home was awesome we saw a big black bear it looked like it weighed as much as a car but nana and papa said it was only 1-5 years old. Then on ce we got back to the train station we went to the car and drove home we usually see a few deer and then when we get home we go and have ice cream. Then I’ll make a fruit salad with fresh cut strawberries, some fresh bananas, and some fresh wild blue berries, and I can’t forget cantaloupe, and fresh watermelon, and then we have melon in that really fresh juicy flavor.
Then we went on that pontoon boat and we just cruised around the lake. Then when we got back to the house we went to Jim’s house for guitar lessons he is an awesome guitar player. Then I usually go to see if my friend April’s house. One time we took her sled and put all of her Barbies on it and sent them down the stair case and one Barbies head came off and the others arm and leg came off. Then the dog came and attacked the Barbie’s head and now its head is all chewed up. So if she isn’t home we go out fishing some times we’ll fish so long that we’ll run out of 24 worms! Then when it gets to chilly out we go in the house for the rest of the day and watch jeopardy or family fued then we’ll usually have a few sodas and maybe we’ll even play a few rounds of Yatzee. Next we’ll go to bed sometimes we’ll here the wo0lves howl what is surprising their less then a mile away!
Then after a few days of fishing working and having fun the trip is over. And we pack up and me, nana, and papa all drive to Wautoma and then we meet my parents and then they drive the rest of the way home.
